Rural Delivery Unavailable

Due to the volume of freight in the rural network we are having trouble delivering orders in reasonable timeframes. Unfortunately, this has resulted in some orders being wasted due to spoilage. We have therefore had to suspend our Rural Home Delivery Service.

Many rural postcodes have now been excluded, if you have previously been able to place an order to your rural address we apologise, in most instances this is no longer possible. 

We're sorry to have to change the service for many of our existing customers. If you believe your address is being excluded by mistake feel free to get in touch and we’ll do our best to make the necessary amendments.

As an alternative, many of our customers are now having their orders delivered to the nearest Agent/Collect Point. We can deliver next day to the Agent/Collect Point, and there is tracking on the parcel from collection until delivery.

At checkout please enter the Agent’s details in the Shipping Address, keeping your personal details in the Billing Address.

Delivery Destinations
We currently deliver nationwide within NZ to non-rural addresses. We also have our own retail store in the Hawkes Bay, and many retail stockists nationwide.

Shipping Rates:

  • All orders over $150 value: FREE
  • North Island (less than $150 order value): $9.50
  • South Island (less than $150 order value): $14.50
  • Hawke's Bay (less than $150 order value): $5.50

To maintain our competitive shipping rates there is a minimum order value of $50.

Order Processing Times
We ship from the Hawkes Bay and dispatch orders Monday to Thursday. For same-day dispatch we need to have your order (including payment) before 9am. Delivery is within 24 - 48 hours.

Delivery Tracking
When your order is shipped, you’ll receive an email containing the courier details of your parcel so you can track its delivery. If your parcel is lost or delivered unreasonably late, we will offer either a replacement order or a full refund.

Meat Packaging
To keep your meat fresh and chilled we use special insulated boxes and ice packs. The ice packs and insulation are re-usable, the boxes are cardboard and can be recycled or re-used. For Hawke's Bay deliveries we have a separate chilled local delivery service.

Delivery when you’re not at home
The courier will deliver your meat if you're not home and leave it in a sensible place. Please supply any special instructions to make it easier for the delivery team. Once delivered it is the responsibility of the purchaser to chill or freeze your meat as soon as possible.
